Beauty Experiment: Garnier Summer Body VS Dove Summer Glow
These products suppose to gradually build a natural-looking sun-kissed tan while moisturising your skin. In winter, I get stucked in the house all the time and my legs and arms are getting whiter (I don't like that).After reading some reviews about these two products, I decide to give them a try.
I bought Garnier Summer Body 250ml from Parkn' Save for $8.23 and Dove Summer Glow from Countdown 400ml for $5.99 (on sale, lucky yeah!). Look at the value of the money, looks like Dove is better, you pay less but you get a lot more!
Lets start the test!!!

ok it has been about 1 week since I stared this Beauty Experiment, i have to stop now as my skin shade become so obvious, all my left leg and arm are very tanned and my right leg and arm are still very pale, lol~~ I am now going to start to apply on the rest of my body now.
So,here is my review:
Price:
Garnier Summer Body is more expensive than Dove Summer Glow but still very cheap.
Smell:
Garnier Summer Body has lightly fruity smell and Dove Summer Glow has stronger flowery smell. (I prefer Garnier's smell).
Product Performance:
As you can see from my arm photo, I can see the Dove Summer Glow builts the tan shade on your skin slightly faster and darker than Garnier.
Product texture:
Garnier is a white cream and very easily to be absorbed into your skin. Dove Summer Glow is a peachy cream colour and slightly more wet feeling after applying and it drys slightly slower than Garnier.
I'm pretty happy with the result, it really worked and has no funny smells, no marks on your clothes and skin is very moisturised.
For those who is having touble finding a good self tan product, here is my review.
